History

The increased demand for teleconsultation during the COVID-19 pandemic led to a desire to help the patient by providing patient-centred care at a distance The idea of a remote dermatology clinic was first floated at the Alter State Women’s Sprint and, thanks to a strong team, has slowly become a reality.

We realised that teleconsultations allow us to look at each patient individually, taking more time to analyse each situation comprehensively. The survey found that 96% of respondents had a history of skin problems. Many people said that they don’t always have the time or are unable to see a dermatologist for various reasons.

Since 2021, iDerma has been providing high-quality dermatology care, successfully treating thousands of patients in Lithuania with skin, hair, and nail concerns. With a strong foundation in expert-led remote consultations, we expanded to Latvia in 2024, partnering with local doctors. As we continue to grow, our mission remains the same—delivering accessible, expert dermatological care to more patients across borders.
